In 2012, Nikka introduced the Taketsuru 25 Year Old Pure Malt, commemorating Masataka Taketsuru, the pioneering figure who brought whisky-making expertise from Scotland to Japan.

This expression is a harmonious blend of meticulously selected malt whiskies from Nikka’s Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, each aged for a minimum of 25 years. The result is a whisky of profound depth and character.
